The expanded PTFE packing AVKOPACK® 1101 S, produced from high class yarns, is the next AVKO product, certified by BAM (Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing, Berlin) for work in oxygen environment. Both tests, each containing 5 consecutive oxygen waves, have purpose to determine predisposition of the packing to ignition during the shock waves. The specialized technical forum ACHEMA this year took place again in Frankfurt in the period June, 15 – 19th. More than 166 000 visitors took their chance to visit more than 3113 companies, divided to three main branches – chemical, pharmaceutical and food and beverage industry.

During the meeting, Thursday, March 12 in the audience heard presentations on the topic: "Highly reliable sealing materials and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) - AVKOSEAL® eC" and "New generation sealing sheets AVKOSEAL® MS of modified polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)".
